LAND & WATER CANCUN, MEXICO ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Katrina and Mike’s incredible engagement session in beautiful Cancun, Mexico, and I’m thrilled to share this blog. For the first part of their session, I wanted to celebrate Katrina’s Italian heritage, so I incorporated lush, vibrant florals and rich greenery reminiscent of the Italian countryside. Every shot felt infused with European charm, creating an elegant and nostalgic atmosphere. I also wanted to bring in their shared love of vintage music, particularly from the 1940s and earlier. The timeless romance and soulful melodies from that era perfectly complemented their personalities and the overall aesthetic, adding another beautiful layer to their session.
We spent the evening surrounded by the breathtaking coastline, capturing their love amid starfish, coastal rocks, and seashells, all while the warm ocean breeze set the perfect mood. As the sun began to set, its golden light illuminated their sunkissed skin, creating a magical atmosphere as they ran along the shore, laughing and enjoying each other’s company. The moment they stepped into the water, their deep connection harmonized perfectly with the natural beauty of the landscape.
I’m incredibly excited to continue documenting their love story, and I can’t wait to capture the magic of their backyard wedding this summer—it’s sure to be an unforgettable day!
