THE SCAGNETTI’S
A Full Circle Love Story Years in the Making
Some wedding days stay with you long after the last frame is captured and Kennedy and Curtis day was one of those rare, unforgettable moments. Photographing their wedding at the serene beauty of Trout Lake felt deeply personal, especially because Kennedy has been part of my life for nearly as long as I can remember.
As she stepped into her wedding gown, time seemed to slow. I found myself thinking back to our very first photo session years ago, when I was still in grade 12, learning my way around a camera and discovering my love for storytelling. Standing there now, documenting one of the most meaningful days of her life, felt incredibly full circle a quiet reminder of how much growth, love, and life can unfold in between moments.
The day itself was effortlessly romantic. Soft light danced across the landscape, the towering spruce trees standing as gentle witnesses to every promise made. Each detail was chosen with care, creating a celebration that felt intimate, timeless, and deeply reflective of Kennedy and Curtis a love that is warm, sincere, and beautifully grounded.
It was an honour to capture a day filled with so much history, emotion, and tenderness. Kennedy and Curtis are the kind of couple who make everything around them feel softer, and documenting their love story is something I will forever hold close.
