Manitoulin Island Wedding - Heaven & Eric Lacina by Chelsee Taylor

The most dreamy waterfront wedding I’ve ever shot!!! Totally deserved its own blog post. Heaven & Eric’s wedding was beautiful, moody and dreamy all in one. We had everything from fog, rain, torrential rain, shelf clouds, micro bursts and beautiful sunshine all in a span of 8 hours.

If you scroll down you will see the difference in all the weather moods and just how happy Heaven and Eric are together. Congratulations to this happy couple!! I also just had to mention that the very last set of their last dance, you’ll see how the weather went from beautiful and clear to a shelf cloud of almost being a micro burst… to then clear again!! It was an honest challenge during their first dance with all the different lighting situations and being able to capture the wicked surrounding of what was happening. It was the most unique and cool experience I have encountered shooting a wedding. It certainly made out for some of my most favourite moody wedding shots to date! Check them out!

Steel Workers Hall Wedding - Sudbury, Ontario by Chelsee Taylor

On Saturday June 2nd, 2018 I got to photograph an amazing couple Kristen & Joel Pelkmans wedding. The story on how their love came to be was definitely one for the books. One thing I can take away from this beautiful wedding and listening to the speeches from loved ones would be:

Three simple rules in life: If you do not go after what you want, you’ll never have it. If you do not ask, the answer will always be no. If you do not step forward, you will always be in the same place.

With that being said, she went for it and she landed the man of her dreams. I'm so incredibly proud of this couple and their accomplishments. See below as I had the honour of capturing their beautiful wedding.

Kerri & Andre Comtois Wedding - Sudbury, Ontario by Chelsee Taylor

On August 26th, 2017 I had the chance to photograph one of the most beautiful and emotional weddings.  Kerri & Andre are such a beautiful couple, it was such a pleasure to be their photographer.  I never had a wedding where I would tear up during editing. It was one of those heart felt weddings where you know it's true love and such an inspiring love to look up to.

Kerri, you looked absolutely beautiful and you were an amazing bride to work with.  Andre, thank you for taking direction so well LOL. Duke (dog) , I can't forget about you - what a model you are!  You truly are amazing people.

Fall fun with Caleigh and Marty by Chelsee Taylor

Last weekend I had spent an early morning with my beautiful friend Caleigh and her boyfriend Marty! We were hoping to either catch some fog or early morning sunset.. but unfortunately it decided to be an overcast day, which in my case it's perfect.

We had lots of fun with the extra added wind and leaves! The last three pictures at the bottom of the set, I had Caleigh model a product for Stitch and Stone, she did a fantastic job as always.

Fall-ing in love Engagement Session by Chelsee Taylor

I had an amazing time shooting Kerri & Andre's land version engagement shoot... if your wondering they purchased the land and water wedding package, which includes two different styled engagement shoots!.

They brought along their 11 month old pup Duke, who was a complete pleasure to work with.  Duke added a lot of goofy pictures to this shoot, including the classic "I lost the ring".  We tried getting Duke to place the ring on his nose and stay... well needless to say, the ring went flying a couple times.  Once almost off the rock cliff at Lake Laurentian, than again over the look out deck.. which was a little more work.  If you scroll down you will see I captioned the photo for when we did find the ring.

All in all, it was such a pleasure to capture their love again on camera.  I cannot wait to shoot their wedding next August, because their chemistry together + Duke is extraordinary.

Underwater Engagement Session - Sudbury, Ontario - by Chelsee Taylor

Last weekend I complete an underwater engagement session for Kerri and Andre, part 1 of their wedding package.  It was such a pleasure working with them, we spent 3-4 months planning this awesome session on what the look and feel was we wanted to go for.

Nervous, as they never had done this before... they KILLED it.  I must say underwater modelling is not the easiest thing, especially if water is not your best friend.  This was my first time doing two subjects underwater, it was a challenge with lighting and positioning on my end underwater - but challenge accepted and complete.  Check out the sets of some of the session below:
