Would you do a TF (Trade for..)?
I do NOT do any TF shoots, unless your a professional model and I believe it would both benefit our portfolios. This IS my full time job and It’s almost insulting, I need to make a living too. If your a starter model looking for quality work for your portfolio than quality work comes at a price. Thank you for understanding :).

I LOVE your work! But I cannot afford your prices…?
Thank-you I am flattered… but unfortunately my prices are not budging. All my prices are priced out by time, quality, retouching, prints, shipping, costumes, gas, makeup artist, equipment and pre-planning. I do have a package called “Fast track pricing” for people who are trying to stay under $100. If you are a new model and wanting to try to get in an agency, working and paying a professional photographer is the best way to go.

What should I/we wear?
It is best to keep clothing simple, avoiding logos or busy patterns for formal shoots. I always suggest layers/textures. In group photos, color coordinating is always more pleasing to the eye. Wear clothes that represent you and who you are. Feel free to bring a change of clothing. Depending on package, we can help you pick whats best for the theme.

Do you supply costumes/clothing/props?
Yes I do, mostly for in-studio shoots only or underwater. Underwater dress props are $20 fee as they are prom dresses & wedding dresses.

What to bring?
For modelling, couples or headshot photo sessions: up to 3 outfit changes or any props you that you think would benefit the shoot.

How long does the photo shoot session last?
Depending on the session, they are stated on the packages. Usual sessions lasts 1 hour – 1.5 hours.

How do we book you?
Simply let me know you would like to book a photo shoot session, what dates work best for you and what type of session you are looking for through my contact page or email me at info@chelseetaylor.com. For wedding photography please send me your date, venue location and I will send you a wedding package that best fits your needs and I will send you the wedding contract with more information.

Has any of your work been published, magazines, articles..?
I have had many photographs published in magazines.  I have been placed in 20 Something Magazine (3x), Toronto Smart Magazine (x3), Miss Northern Ontario Magazine (x2), Miss Teen Canada website (x1), Spiced Magazine St.Catherines front cover & articles (x3), Northern Life, Vogue.it (x5), Sudbury Star and currently submitting work to magazines.

Underwater photography, is it mostly photoshopped?
My underwater photography is completely all original starting in our backyard in-ground pool.  Everything you see is done with purchased backgrounds, lighting, props, clothing and hard-work from both model and photography crew.

I can’t swim very well, but I want an Underwater session?
I am a certified lifeguard an have been for 5 years, including first aid & CPR-C.  I’ve taught swim lessons to all ages and can show you the best way to help yourself stay underwater.

When will I receive my photos?
Approximately 2-3 weeks after your session (weddings usually 8-12 weeks depending on the time of year). Pictures will be professionally edited, color corrected(if needed), some offered in black & white and all in high resolution for weddings. I will usually post a sneak peek photo of the session on my website and/or Facebook page within a few days of your session.

Are there any additional charges for me to receive my photos?
The rate stated on the packages are a FLAT rate for everything stated. Any other prints (Prices found at the bottom of each package sheet), or digital files ($10 per extra high resoltuion file or all digital release for one flat rate, please refer to packages)

Where will the photos be taken? Do you have a studio?
The location of the photo session is up to you (depending on package), we currently are in the process of setting up our studio. I do however have a portabel travel studio. Keep in mind I am a natural light photographer and do not need to use any other source of lighting (Unless sundown) as this is what I specialize in.  Once your photo shoot date is booked we will discuss what type of feel you are looking for in your photographs, we can then work together to come up with the perfect location. Boudoir photo sessions are almost always held within the comfort of your own home.

Do you only offer the photos on CD or do you offer prints?
The price listed includes the price of all of the photos on CD, if you are interested in having prints made please refer to package sheets at the bottom.  I do order prints from outside professional printers and vendors in Toronto, if you are interested in ordering prints we can discuss sizes and prices that work best for you.

Do you have a Make-up/Hairstylist?
I certainly do, I have three actually. I have three professional make-up/hair artists Tia Naccarato, Cora Gillespie (Coriginal makeup and design) Courtney Gibson. Please refer to their profiles on the Team page.

I love doing  photography for any occasion. If you have an occasion in mind you do not see listed, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Or if you have any questions about anything you see, please let me know.  I would love to hear from you. Thank you!
